i finally got to treat esther recently for a favour.... its a good talk good food good company..its a nice place.. BUT lousy service.. but i dun care.. im gg back there again for the food is really good..
its New York New York.. at city link.. you guys must try it.. it has good american fare.. with the same price range as nydc, cafe cartel, billy bombers, kenny rogers and the like.. and 10 times tastier in my opinion..
esther had bratwurst sausages wrapped with cheese and bacon and chips.. and i had penne in lovely creamy mushhroom sauce and roast chicken.. its sounds ordinary in description but it was sumptious... we also had fried mars bar.. have you all heard of the fried mars bar at chippys in far east? it pales in comparison to this..
everything was done so well in big servings .. the chicken wasnt too dry, the mars bar was well melted and juicy in the middle..

amidst all the catching up and laughter.. i cudn help noticing the gay couple beside us.. i dun wanna be prejudiced but its hard not to notice them.. they shared food... they looked at each other intimately it gave me the creeps.. its almost like if there weren't anyone ard..they wud have grabbed each other 's hands... their eys speak the language of love.. and they leaned close to each other thruout the meal.. *shudder* the funny thing is ... they dun look like the typical gays.. neither do they behave like one( the way they walk etc.)... closet gays..


thurs-24th..

had work.. lunch with colleague at food muesuem in raffles place.. famous beef hor fun.. very heavily doused in beef sause but very good.. later on.. before i left work.. i felt kinda guilty..even tho i dunno why beacause i wasnt at fault.. he was working the same shift with me but i left on time while he left later cuz he haven't finish his work.. yet he was so good natured about it.. i mean he din feel pissed or anything.. gotta learn to be more like him... more giving more generous..

then i met up with a very important fruit! MANGO!
okok.. not fruit ... a good fren of mine who was a gf of a guy who is a close fren of my ex..
great company and good food.. spaggedies! yum...
i had chicken penne pasta.. and the chicken was well-seasoned..
she had black pepper soft shell crab arrabiata... heavenly!
and i decorated her birthday book b4 we left the place..
she had this birthday book to let all her frens decorate... which she is not gonna open and only do so on her birthday.. how charming..
and she's leavig for australia in a weeks time for a whole long month to celebrate her birthday with her bf and catch a THIRTY minute fireworks! imagine! 30 minutes fireworks!!!!! we singaporeans had 10 minutes fireworks and we already feel blessed.. i love the way fireworks make me feell.. for that 10 minutes its like im transported to fairyland and my worries and troubles vanished ...
and we toked about how we wanna travel ard the world..
and catch more foreign films...


friday-25th..

got to meet up darling pei!!!! wooo...
went to New York New York again! haha
now i had those sausages... and delicious waffles with ice cream and chocolate...the waffles are SO CRISPY..yummy... and the sausages are fat and juicy.. and pei had lovely mudpie as well.. it was warm and not too sweet... heavenly.. suppose to meet up with simon to meet supplier.. but too bad cant.. so i head off to NAFA with pei...she went to continue her proj.. while i pop in there for fun.. saw the ever energised Bianca! pluck off wisdom tooth and the same night she still and go out! pei fu pei fu..

went off to icon ..has a shop with gorgeous bags!! the guy there actually graduated from ntu with accounting.. yet another graduate doing veering towards another career path totally not what he intended n the first place.. makes me wonder what goes on in the minds of these ppl...

then we walked around to bugis village.. quite a lot of crapp there too..
then walked ard towards arab street... funny place..with all kinds of funny shops..
i feel like trying the egyptian restaurant there...


hm...


contented...

work is getting more hectic nowadays.. but im blessed with supportive and caring colleagues so in no way did i feel stressed

without hesitation..
im surprised myself by saying that..also very surprised at the quickness i replied..

with all that i have been thru for the past few years.. im glad i faced it and deal with it..
and God has been good to me..

and im grateful..
